Henry May is a social entrepreneur, globally recognized for seeking transformative solutions for education in Latin America.
Henry is an educator from the UK and has lived in Colombia since 2012. He is the creator of Coschool , The Huracan Foundation , and Edumoción . His organizations have directly impacted the lives of more than 30,000 people in 20+ countries.
He has been recognized by the Gates Foundation, HundrED Finland, and the Templeton World Charity Foundation for his work. He was named in 2021 as one of the 100 Meaningful Business Leaders in the world.

TRAJECTORY
1986 - Henry is born in London, UK
2008 - completes his undergraduate degree at the University of Nottingham as a theologian
2008 - lives in Argentina, the story of Huracan FC London and The Huracan Foundation begins
2009 - begins his work as a teacher with Teach First
2011 - works with Teach First in the training and selection of teachers
2012 - joins Enseña por Colombia, leading teacher training
2013 - FIFA names The Huracan Foundation as a "Football for hope" project
2014 - Coschool is born, uniting public and private schools for youth leadership projects
2015 - Coschool becomes the second B Company in the educational sector in Colombia
2018 - Company wins "The Misk Grand Challenge" out of 3,000 global submissions, receiving awards from Botnar and TWCF
2019 - Henry is recognized as one of the outstanding entrepreneurs of the Teach for All network
2020 + 2020 - Coschool is named by HundrED (Finland) as one of the world's 100 most important innovations in education
2021 - Edumoción is launched, with investment from Acumen and Bancolombia
